Founder-CEO
Hi, I’m Luke one of the staff at Tugboat 3D Printing and the manager of all social accounts. I am Ethan's brother, as well as CEO. Being Chief Executive Officer means I manage all tech (websites, email, etc.), and help where help is needed. I was the first of everyone at Tugboat to get into 3D printing around November of 2019. Little did I know what I was stepping into and had no idea I needed to level a bed or use a slicer. So when I got my first printer for Christmas, an Anycubic Mega S, I soon fell out of it until last year, 2022, when my friend Landon came over and asked what it was. That was the spark plug to get back in to 3D printing. We pulled an all-nighter, once I fixed the printer to the best of my ability real quick and we eventually got a successful print, my first print, a Benchy. We later decided to print 2 tugboats, and it started to fail about halfway through the print. We spent over a hour stopping, trimming, stopping, and trimming, until finally we had two completed tugboats, one that looked like a fishing boat and another that looked like a tugboat. This was when we decided to make a company/YouTube Channel called Tugboat 3D Printing. Other than 3D Printing I enjoy using a Cricut machine and playing hockey. I also enjoy skiing, videomaking, and coding. I eventually would like to become a software engineer.
Founfer-CDO
Hello, I am Landon. I am one of the founders of Tugboat 3D Printing and CDO. I manage designing everything (prints, events, websites, etc.) in the company. My love of 3D Printing sparked when I went to Luke’s house and saw his 3D printer. I had been interested in getting a 3D printer in the past, but only when I was very young and when my parents wouldn’t get me one. I had seen the powers of 3D Printing before, and even collected some items when 3D Printing first hit, but something was different when I saw that my friend had one. I used to think that 3D printers were exclusive to rich people and companies until I saw Luke’s printer. I went home and convinced my parents to get me one. After about 3 weeks of finding and ordering a printer, I had received my Ender 3 Pro. I got to build my printer, which was likely the biggest learning curve I had ever experienced, but it also gave me so much information on the world of 3D Printing. I really invested in the craft, trying to get the best 3D Printing materials and good I could afford. I recently even bought a glass bed. All of this leads up to current day (March 2023), when me and Luke are getting ready for a very large 3D Printing convention in April. Other than 3D Printing, I enjoy swimming, theatre, band, video-making, game-making, other water sports, and reading. I want to become an actor and/or software engineer when I grow up.
Hi, I'm Ethan, brother to Luke and one of the founder/owners of T3DP. I am the latest founder to get into 3D printing but I have known about it for years. At T3DP I run our financing and all our sales. I also manage any and all sponsorships. On my free time I enjoy playing hockey and football with my friends. I am the youngest at T3DP but I believe I contribute just as much as everybody else and am one of the most professional. Other than 3D Printing, I am working towards becoming a pilot in the future and I am planning on starting lessons soon.
Hi, My name is Bryce and I am in charge of all support here at Tugboat 3D Printing. When I saw that Luke and Landon had a printer I needed to get one since I fell in love with their printers. I got my first printer on October 19th (The Neptune 2s). After 3 hours of working on it, I finally got it built. But when I turned it on, It didn't work :(, so I had to return that one and get a one I have right now which is the Neptune 3. When I got it a week later I started building it right away! Luckily it didn’t take much time to build. But when I hit the print button for the test it worked! And my first print was done! I was so excited that it worked. When I am not printing I like to either be with my friends, swim , or just go on a bike ride by myself.
Hi my name is Kaitlyn Jewell and I am one of the merchandise designers. My favorite color is pink and my favorite animal is a polar bear. My favorite candy is nerds. I was born in Austin Texas and now live in Colorado. I like to play football and swim.
